This flexible pipe comprises a supple and flexible tubular body (PP) which comprises, from the inside outwards, a pressure vault (1b-1c) involving filaments (10) embedded in a layer of elastomer and wound in a helix at an angle of 54.7° with respect to the generatrices and an attached sealing layer (1a), together with a pair of rigid end connectors (EC) which comprises two coaxial cylindrical sleeves, one of them an inner one (2) into which the sealing layer (1a) is pushed, this layer being retained therein, and the other one an outer one (7) which extends axially on the same side of the body (PP) beyond the inner sleeve (2), surrounding the variable-diameter transition zone of the pressure vault; the end connector is provided with a pair of supple annular bearing elements (5, 6) of variable profile, positioned at this transition zone and interposed respectively between the sealing layer (1a) and the pressure vault (1b-1c) and between the pressure vault (1b-1c) and the skirt (7), preventing the filaments from shearing on distension. A pipe such as this is intended particularly for the petrochemical industry, for carrying liquids or gases.
