<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system and a printed matter preparation method, capable of preparing efficiently a printed matter mixed with a color printed matter and a monochromatic printed matter. <P>SOLUTION: A component analyzer 16 registers a page content in a page list, to be supplied to an imposition processor 18, when a color component is included in the page content supplied from a page content preparation device 14. The imposition processor 18 classifies the page content according to imposition numbers to the page list and press plates, transmits the imposition-processed page content including the color component, to an image setter 24, and transmits the imposition-processed page content not including the color component, to an image setter 20. A color printer 26 prepares the printed matter including the color component, using the press plate prepared by the image setter 24, and a monochromatic printer 22 prepares the printed matter comprising only the monochromatic component, using the press plate prepared by the image setter 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
