摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an imaging unit which is constituted by pivotally supporting an image carrier that is uniformly electrified and then exposed so that an electrostatic latent image is formed thereon, and a developer carrier that carries and conveys developer to the image carrier so that the electrostatic latent image is developed in a housing, and where the developer carrier is energized by an energizing means, thereby maintaining a developing gap between a peripheral surface of the image carrier and a peripheral surface of the developer carrier, and which is miniaturized by improving the position of the energizing means. <P>SOLUTION: An energizing mechanism 30 is arranged at a part between respective supporting shafts 31c and 33c of a photoreceptor drum 31 and a developing roller 33 on outside surfaces of housing side plate parts 36a and 36b. The energizing mechanism 30 is constituted such that a pedestal 38 having a bottomed cylinder part is erected on the outside surface and a U-shaped press-contact member 37 is inserted in the bottomed cylinder part of the pedestal 38 through a compression coil spring 39. The supporting shaft 33c is pressed by the forked part of the press-contact member 37 by restoring force of the compression coil spring 39, whereby the developing roller 33 is energized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
