<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent inconvenience such that a developing device with a swing support point shaft supported in a mounting groove floats resulting from, for example, unbalanced force at the start of drive. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 includes the developing device 122. The posture of the developing device 122 is switched between: a developing posture where a developing roller 122e swings around a swing support point shaft 41 to abut on a photoreceptor drum 121; and a non-developing posture where the developing roller 122e is separated from the photoreceptor drum 121. In the image forming apparatus 10, an image forming frame 30 to which the developing device 122 is detachably attached is provided, U-shaped grooves 421 with opened upper ends are formed in the front and rear side plates 31 and 32 which are opposite walls of the image forming frame 30, and the swing support point shafts 41 each project from the front and rear end walls 122d and 122h so as to fit into the respective U-shaped grooves 421 of the front and rear side plates 31 and 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
