摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marine vessel propulsion unit capable of reducing an impact when the connection state of a clutch mechanism is switched. <P>SOLUTION: The marine vessel propulsion unit is provided with an upper clutch mechanism 33 arranged on an axis of a lower drive shaft 34 and constituted so as to switch it to the connection state (first connection state) for transmitting the drive force of an engine 30 to a downstream side and the half-clutch state for reducing and transmitting the transmitted drive force of the engine 30; and an advancement/retreating drive part 373 arranged on an axis L2 of a front side propeller drive shaft 363 and a rear side propeller drive shaft 364 and constituted so as to switch it to the advance time connection state and the retreating time connection state (second connection state) for transmitting the drive force of the engine 30 to a front side propeller 35a and a rear side propeller 35b in order to propel a marine vessel and a disconnection state (second disconnection state) for disconnecting the drive force of the engine 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
