<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller, an effect device set, and an electric stringed instrument which excels in operability and can output a prescribed signal to an effect device which imparts prescribed effects to the musical sounds generated from a stringed instrument, as typified by an erhu, without impairing the performance. <P>SOLUTION: A casing of a controller 4 formed of a flat bar shape has an operation surface 46, on which operation buttons 41-45 are arranged; a covered surface 47 covered with a neck 23 to be opposed to the operation surface 46; and side surfaces 48a and 48b extended toward the covered surface 47 from both edge parts in a longitudinal direction of the operation surface 46. Thus, the controller 4 can be attached so that the covered surface 47 is covered with the surface of the neck 23 of the erhu opposed to strings 241 and 242. Hence, the operation surface 46 is located between the strings 241, 242 and the neck 23, a player can operate the operation buttons 41-45 without difficulty, and performance will not be impaired, because a hand of the player does not contact with the casing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
