<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set photographing conditions in accordance with a photographer in a photographing apparatus such as a digital camera. <P>SOLUTION: A database DB1. in which feature values of various kinds of the face and setup contents of the digital camera 1 are registered to be made correspond to each other, is stored in an internal memory 35 beforehand. The face of the photographer is photographed by a second photographing part 10B, and a face recognition part 36 recognizes the face and outputs the feature amount of the face to a database management part 37. A database management part 37 refers to the database DB1, and outputs information indicating the contents of a setup condition corresponding to the feature amount of the face to a CPU 40.
