摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device capable of restraining the catalyst temperature from deviating from the upper limit value of a window, in the control device of an internal combustion engine with a supercharger having a first supercharger, a second supercharger and a catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: A second turbine 61 of the second supercharger 60 is larger than a first turbine 51 of the first supercharger 50, and is interposed on the downstream side of the first turbine 51. The catalyst 44 is arranged on the downstream side of the second turbine 61. This device also includes first and second bypass passages 46 and 47 respectively bypassing the first and second turbines 51 and 61, and control valves Vhe and Vle for adjusting these opening areas. When a load is large and when the temperature of the catalyst 44 is low, the control valves Vhe and Vle are respectively put in a full opening-full closure state so as to operate only the second supercharger 60.
