<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic apparatus with enhanced operability. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus 1 includes a cabinet 4 having an upper wall 5, a keyboard 12 supported by the upper wall 5, and a touch pad 14 mounted inside the cabinet 4 along the internal plane of the upper wall 5. An area of the upper wall 5, which is positioned on the near side of the keyboard 12 to a user, includes a touch pad plane 34 facing the touch pad 12, and a palm rest plane 31, disposed out of the area of the touch pad plane 34, on which the user's hands are placed when the keyboard 12 is used.
