<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection system for acquiring a highly expressing cell line in the cells to which membrane protein genes are introduced because the expression levels are extremely different in the sites to which the genes are incorporated because the sites to which the introduced genes may be incorporated can not be specified in non-anchorage-dependent animal cells. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for detecting the membrane protein of the non-anchorage-dependent animal cells includes immobilizing the non-anchorage-dependent animal cells by prescribed anchor molecules, bringing a material for the detection into contact with the membrane protein, cleaning the material for the detection, and detecting the membrane protein. The screening method of the non-anchorage-dependent animal cells expressing the introduced membrane protein gene includes introducing the membrane protein genes to the non-anchorage-dependent animal cells, culturing the cells, detecting the culture cells, and comparing and selecting the expression levels of the membrane protein in the cells.
