<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an electrical shock when taking out laundry articles by removing static electricity of an inner lid even when an outer tub cover is made of a resin material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Th washing and drying machine is provided with: an outer tub in which washing water or rinsing water is accumulated; an inner tub placed inside the outer tub in a rotatable manner; an outer tub top cover mounted to the upper end edge of the outer tub to be supported; and an inner lid supported openably and closably to the outer tub top cover with a hinge part. The washing and drying machine carries out drying operation of drying the laundry articles inside the inner tub. In the vicinity of a rotary shaft provided at the hinge part, a conductive member A on the side of the inner lid and a conductive member B on the side of the outer tub top cover are provided. The conductive member A is electrically connected with the inner lid by a conductive member C. The conductive member B is electrically connected with the outer tub top cover by a conductive member D. The conductive member D is electrically connected with the outer frame.
