<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology with which a much higher advertisement effect can be obtained in an image forming apparatus such as an MFP. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a display means for displaying a moving image for advertisement during execution of a job in the image forming apparatus, and a display control means. When the job is finished before the moving image (step S22), the display control means stops reproducing the moving image (step S24) and causes the display means to display a still image relating to the moving image (step S25).
