<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a carrier frequency error appropriately, according to the transmission path status of an OFDM signal. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The OFDM demodulator 601 includes a first phase shift detection portion for detecting the amount of phase shift in an OFDM signal at a predetermined period and a feedback correction portion for correcting a received OFDM signal based on the detected amount of phase shift. Moreover, the first phase shift detection portion includes a feed-forward correction portion and a selector. The feed-forward correction portion detects the amount of phase shift in the OFDM signal corrected by the feedback correction portion at a predetermined period, and further corrects the OFDM signal corrected by the feedback correction portion based on the detected amount of phase shift. The selector selects and outputs either of the OFDM signal corrected by the feedback correction portion or the OFDM signal corrected by the feed-forward correction portion, based on the measured transmission path status.
