<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer for reinforcement, which can be used for main reinforcement and distributing bar, and facilitate installation thereof. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The spacer includes a spacer body 1 and a metallic linear member 2 protruded on the spacer body. The linear member is doubly constituted by providing a turned-up part 21 substantially in the center of one continuous member, and is divided into a buried area 3 about both ends of which are buried in the spacer body while holding a predetermined space between both, and a projection area 4 constituted by the other part. The projection area 4 includes projection base parts 41 and 42 disposed orthogonally to a covering direction, reinforcement holding parts 43 and 44 provided oppositely to the projection base parts, and a locking projection 49 bent in the axial direction of a reinforcement to be held by the reinforcement holding parts.
