The method involves cutting two periphery surfaces and side surfaces which are adjacent to each other corresponding to the two dimensional projections with oversize according to the laser by the cutting optics (3) as a part of switchable optics in the luminous laser radiation. A rod and a carrier are cut from the body, so that a dental body (5) having the oversize is connected with the carrier by the rod. The periphery surfaces and the side surfaces of the dental body are cut laminar corresponding to the mold of the dental body till an oversize by sensor optics (4). An independent claim is included for a device for automatic preparation of dental body made of ceramic.
