<p>The invention relates to a fragrance diffuser comprising a base (2) and a cartridge (3), these having mating means for connecting and disconnecting the cartridge (3) and the base (2). The cartridge (3) has a casing (19) containing a fragrance substrate (21) made of a solid material impregnated with fragrance, the casing (19) comprising an air admission path on one side of the fragrance substrate (21) and an air expulsion path on the other. The base (2) is provided with motor means for setting up an airflow which enters the cartridge (3) through the admission path to envelope the fragrance substrate (21), and passes out of the cartridge (3) through the expulsion path.
