<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for drying succulent plants enabling production of powder containing only color and components each inherent in succulent plants, and comprising a production process where an emulsified oil-and-fat agent or the like is added to the powder of succulent plants whose color is turned into brown or the like due to a thermal dry process and thereby looking bad, and whose components get denatured, reduced or vanished into deteriorated ones due to heating. <P>SOLUTION: The method for drying succulent plants comprises a powder production process comprising sterilizing/washing the succulent plant in solid state using sodium hypochlorite, and drying the succulent plant at low temperature for long period of time when subjected to vacuum freeze dry, so as to produce the powder containing only color and components inherent in the succulent plants. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
