<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector for a flat conductor capable of reliably bring into contact with a flat conductor at two contact sections of a terminal. <P>SOLUTION: In the electrical connector for the flat conductor wherein a pressure member 20 being rotatable between an open position making acceptance of the flat conductor easy and a closed position for pressing the flat conductor is turnably supported by a support section 32A of a terminal 30 and the pressure member 20 is brought into contact with contact sections 33A, 34A of the terminal 30 by pressing the flat conductor P with rotation to the closed position, the terminal 30 has the first contact section 33A arranged on a first contact arm extending from a base section, and the second contact section 34A arranged at a base section 31 side rather than the first contact section 33A. The first contact section 33A is arranged at a position close to the support section 32A rather than the second contact section 34A in the facing direction between the contact arm and the support section at a free state, and is possible to elastically deform. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
