PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of selecting and changing a variation mode with a player intervening in the play. SOLUTION: At least an operation variation mode to be set to make an operation selecting means 67 operable is included in a variation mode table. The variation time for the operation variation mode is composed of a first variation time to display a selection display mode to select one of a plurality of different selective variation modes based the operation of the operation selecting means, and a second variation time to display the selected selective variation mode. The second variation time is set at the longest variation time or longer among selective variation times for the selective variation modes. If the variation time for the selected selective variation mode is shorter than the second variation time, an adjusted variation mode is displayed for the time equivalent to the excess in the second variation time.
