<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device which enables even a laser diode element having a different normal operating temperature range to be built in the optical device having the same structure and to be used. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An optical component including the laser diode element 10 is built in a casing 11. A bimorph type piezoelectric element 12 is disposed nearby the laser diode element 10. A free end of the bimorph type piezoelectric element 12 comes in contact with the laser diode element 10.
