<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately transmit torque in a fixed range to a driven side rotary shaft and to facilitate adjustment of torque transmitted to the driven side rotary shaft even if a drive side rotary shaft and the driven side rotary shaft are separated in an axial direction in a torque limiter used for an image forming device or the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The torque limiter is provided with the first magnetic body 4a provided at one end part of the drive side rotary shaft 4 and a second magnetic body 6a provided at an one end part of the driven side rotary shaft 6 mutually opposed via an axial direction interval, has at least one of the first magnetic body and the second magnetic body composed of a magnet, and transmits rotation of the drive side rotary shaft to the driven side rotary shaft with torque in the fixed range by magnetic force between the first magnetic body and the second magnetic body. In the torque limiter, there is provided an interval adjusting means 8 adjusting an interval of the first magnetic body provided at the drive side rotary shaft and the second magnetic body provided at the driven side rotary shaft.
