<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor of an electric reel with which water hardly permeates into the inside of the motor even if water adheres to the motor by dew condensation etc. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The motor 4 of an electric reel is a motor for driving a spool rotatably supported on the reel body of the electric reel and is equipped with a case member 31, a lid member 32, an output shaft 30 and a sealing member 33. The case member 31 is a bottomed cylindrical member that is fixed through the lid member 32 on the reel body and has a circular opening 31a. The lid member 32 is a member that is fixed on the case member 31 and closes the opening 31a. The output shaft 30 is rotatably supported on the case member 31 and the lid member 32. The sealing member 33 is a member that is formed at least on a caulked and fixed portion 44 between the case member 31 and the lid member 32 at the opening 31a side.
