<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybridization method in which a purification process needed conventionally is not required, complicated operations and cost increases are prevented and results are obtained in a short time in hybridization etc. using a nucleic acid microarray. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for preparing a solution for hybridization wherein an unpurified, labeled target nucleic acid solution containing a labeled target nucleic acid are mixed with a hybridization buffer solution containing a block nucleic acid and buffer. It is preferable that the concentration of a block nucleic acid in the buffer is 0.1-1,000 μg/mL and the concentration of the labeled target nucleic acid in the unpurified, labeled target nucleic acid solution is 1-1,000 μg/mL.
