PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the high-speed screening of a magnetic material compound. SOLUTION: A quantifying method of an antibody or antigen using an iron salen complex compound, represented by formula (I), contains: a process for bonding the antibody or antigen to a region of R<SB>1</SB>or R<SB>2</SB>by biotin-avidin reaction to form a solid-phase antibody or antigen; a process for adding a sample containing the antigen or antibody to obtain a first antibody-antigen composite by antibody-antigen reaction; a process for adding a labeled antibody or antigen to the first antibody-antigen composite to obtain a second antibody-antigen composite by antibody-antigen reaction; and a process for detecting the label in the second antibody-antigen composite.
