PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device allowing parking by an optional vehicle moving locus without needing fine adjustment of a steering angle by a driver. SOLUTION: The electric power steering device comprises an electric motor for giving a steering assist force to a steering system to reduce the driver's steering burden. The vehicle moving locus of parking or garaging carried out by the driver is stored from the time when the driver turns on a memory switch 21 until the driver turns off the memory switch 21, and parking is supported by drive-controlling the electric motor 12 and automatically steering a steering wheel to reproduce the stored vehicle moving locus from the time when the driver turns on a parking support switch 22 until the driver turns off the parking support switch 22.
