摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress high-rpm idling of an internal combustion engine arising when the internal combustion engine is changed from a load operation to an autonomous operation, and to suppress a deterioration in a catalyst which purifies exhaust gas even when the fuel supply to the internal combustion engine stops just after the internal combustion engine is switched from the load operation to the autonomous operation. <P>SOLUTION: An estimated load rate KL is calculated as the rate of an estimated mass flow rate as the mass flow rate of actually sucked air with respect to the maximum mass flow rate of air which can be sucked to the engine based on the state of the engine when the engine is changed from the load operation to the autonomous operation (S130), and the autonomous operation of the engine is started by setting a value Tf1 to a target ignition timing Tf* when the estimated load rate KL is less than the prescribed load rate KL1 (S160, S180), and when the estimated load rate KL is equal to or more than a prescribed load rate KL1, a value Tf2 (at a retard angle side) which is more retardant than a value Tf1 is set to a target ignition timing Th*, and the autonomous operation of the engine is started (S160, S190). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
