<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques for outputting more excellent sounds by reducing a difference in vibration amplitude between regions of a diaphragm of a planar type speaker. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This speaker is provided with: a magnet unit having a flat plate and a plurality of magnets disposed on one surface of the flat plate; a diaphragm disposed with a predetermined interval from the magnet unit; and a coil portion as a coil portion provided on the diaphragm and allowing a current corresponding to the sound signal to flow therethrough, and consisting of a plurality of coils corresponding to the plurality of magnets respectively.
