PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support replacing method for a concrete beam for replacing an existing support with substantially the same support to be used when constructing the concrete beam for the first time entirely by removing not only a lower shoe but also an upper shoe of the existing support to achieve original functions of the support sufficiently. SOLUTION: This support replacing method includes a process for removing the lower shoe of the existing support, a process for chipping a lower face of a superstructure 1 by only the predetermined thickness to expose a part of an anchor bar of the upper shoe of the existing support and cut the anchor bar and leaving a part remaining after cutting to protrude into a chipped part in order to remove the upper shoe, a process for pulling a plurality of cores out of the chipped part upward in the vertical direction, a process for arranging a sole plate 11 provided with an insertion hole 12 in the left anchor bar 3a and a new anchor bar 13 in the chipped part, inserting the left anchor bar into the insertion hole to weld it, inserting the new anchor bar into a coring hole 10, and pouring hardener into the coring hole 10 to fix the new anchor bar, and a process for providing a base plate 18 on an upper face of the superstructure and providing a support body 19 between the base plate and the sole plate.
