<p>A sliding assist mechanism comprises a case (1) attached to one of a body (7) and a mobile body (A), a latch (4) movably disposed in the case and changed between a standby state in which the latch is locked in the case and a drawn state in which the locking is released, a biasing means (3) for biasing the latch in one direction, and an operation member (8) attached to the other of the body (7) and the mobile body. When the latch (4) is changed from the standby state to the drawn state, the mobile body is moved from a first position to a second position on the body side through the operation member (8) by the biasing force accumulated in the biasing means (3). The main section of the mechanism comprises an engagement section (42) in a normal time that is engaged with the operation member (8) in linkage with changing of the latch (4) from the standby state to the drawn state, and an auxiliary engagement means (47) releasably engaged with the operation member (8) when the latch is changed into the drawn state while the operation member is not engaged with the engagement section. A repairing structure can be further simplified by the sliding supporting mechanism.</p> |
