Intracavity frequency tripler laser, particularly solid state laser for use with device, has optical resonator with internal beam waist between mirror and decoupler

The intracavity frequency tripler laser (1) has an optical resonator with an internal beam waist between a mirror (3) and a decoupler (8). A non-linear crystal (6) is provided, where another non-linear crystal (7) of the decoupler has a planar front surface (10) without an anti-reflection coating arranged in a plane (11) of the internal beam waist facing the decoupler. The two non-linear crystals are made of lithium triborate. An independent claim is included for a device.
