The coupling has a coupling neck (1) with an end connected with a coupling ball (3), where the neck is rotatably supported for rotating a bumper around an essentially horizontal rotation axis (2). The neck has two sections (8), which are connected with each other by a bending (6), where distance between the rotation axis and the bending corresponds to distance between the axis and the coupling ball. The neck has a circular-arc-shaped section, whose radius essentially corresponds to the distance of the axis to a point of the neck deep-rooted in a working position. An independent claim is also included for a device for arrangement at a rear end of a vehicle, comprising a bumper.
