摘要 <p>A receiving module (20) is to be coupled to a handshake channel that has a data rail (Bd), at least one handshake rail (Ba, Br) and a condition rail (Bc) in an asynchronous circuit. The receiving module (20) has a register element (21) with a data input to be coupled to the at least one data rail, a handshake terminal for exchanging a request and an acknowledge handshake signal via the handshake rail, and a gate-element (24) with an input for receiving a condition signal from the condition rail. The register element (21) captures data at the data input in response to a clock signal generated as a result of the request handshake signal. The clock signal is selectively passed to the register element (21) by the gate-element (24) in response to the condition signal. An asynchronous circuit comprises such an asynchronous receiving module (20) and an asynchronous sending module (10) that are coupled via the handshake channel, wherein the condition rail is controlled by the sending module (10).</p>
