The invention relates to a device for installing piping in process plants in the food and beverage industry, wherein each valve bank opens directly into the lower tank floor of an associated tank of the process plant or/and each valve bank is connected by means of a pipe connection to an associated process aggregate or tank of the process plant and the pipe connection opens into the end of the valve bank on the tank or process side. The second closing member is designed as a hollow bar and the second seat seal is received in an end face of the hollow bar-shaped second closing member facing the first closing member. The hollow bar-shaped second closing member comprises a cylindrical receptacle hole on the inside in the end segment thereof receiving the second seat seal, said hole having the same diameter as the cylindrical first seating surface, and the receptacle hole and the first seating surface have a flush transition in the closed position of the second closing member.
