摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specific gas concentration sensor capable of accurately detecting either the concentration of NO<SB>X</SB>in a gas to be measured in which ammonia and NO<SB>X</SB>coexist or the concentration of the ammonia. <P>SOLUTION: The specific gas concentration sensor includes a first space on the upstream side and a second space on the downstream side serially arranged to each other; a first element in which a pair of electrodes are arranged in both surfaces of a solid electrolyte and of which either electrode of the pair of electrodes faces the first space; and a second element in which a pair of electrodes are arranged in both surfaces of a solid electrolyte and of which either electrode of the pair of electrodes faces the second space. After oxygen in the gas to be measured is pumped out by the first element such that NO may not be dissociated, NO in the gas to be measured is dissociated by the second element to pump out oxygen and extract a value of a current flowing through the second element as information indicating the concentration of NO<SB>X</SB>in the gas to be measured. A decomposing catalyst for decomposing ammonia in the gas to be measured into components other than NO<SB>X</SB>is provided for the more upstream side than the first space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
