MOTOR DRIVING SYSTEM, AND METHOD OF SUPPRESSING INVERTER SURGE VOLTAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively simply suppress an inverter surge voltage in a motor driving system for supplying power by relaying the power through power supply cables respectively having a different impedance.

SOLUTION: A motor driving system is provided with an inverter device 11 for outputting a PWM-modulated voltage, a relay terminal board 31 supplied with power via a main circuit cable 21 from the output end of the inverter device 11, and a plurality of AC motors 51-5N respectively supplied with power via a plurality of branch cables 41-4N branched from the relay terminal of the relay terminal board 31. A terminator 61 is connected to the vicinity of the relay terminal of the relay terminal board 31 so as to suppress a surge voltage applied to each of the AC motors 51-5N.
