<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, server, and program for selecting a translator to obtain a translation result with high quality under conditions desired by a client for translation. <P>SOLUTION: When a new translation request is accepted (S2), translation forms which can be set in the case of performing direct translation from original language to final language, and in the case of performing relay translation via intermediate language under such conditions desired by a translation client are extracted, and translation forms are stored in a candidate table together with quality values showing the qualities of the translation results in those cases (S4). Candidate information inside the candidate table is sorted in the order of the higher quality values (S5), and whether or not any translator of the proper rank is present is decided (S11 to S15, S21 to S26). When there is any proper translator, the translator is selected as the destination of ordering (S25 or S13), and the translation is ordered (S17). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
