<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter production support system and a color correction method for a printing original, by which thecolor correction of an image in a page is possible in a series of work flow, re-correction is easily performed and correction results can be efficiently utilized and managed. <P>SOLUTION: The system includes: an original receiving means (510) that receives an electronic file of a printing original from a terminal via the Internet, relating to a job registered in a job managing means; a raw material managing means (32) that stores the data of the printing original received by the original receiving means, extracts an image object laid out on the page of the received printing original, and manages data by an image unit; a color correcting means (520) that corrects colors on the image object extracted from the printing original; and a separation RIP processing means that creates bit-map raster image data by each color in accordance with an output printing machine from the data of the printing original including the corrected image after correction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
