<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion vector detecting device and its method capable of excluding a singular detected result and capable of improving a detecting accuracy to improve reliability, and to provide an image pickup device. <P>SOLUTION: An image blurring correction part 15 divides the inside of a frame of temporally-continuous image data into a plurality of blocks, and has a motion vector detecting function of matching the previous frame to the current frame every divided block. The image blurring correction part 15 selects the detecting object block of the motion vector based on the size of the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of the luminance value in each block and performs matching with only the selected detection object block to detect the motion vector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
