<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder for enhancing the determination accuracy of a paper size. <P>SOLUTION: A paper feeding unit 110 has a paper feeding cassette 1, a regulating plate 14A, a slider 15, a rack 21 and a gear body 17. The regulating plate 14A regulates a position of paper by sliding. The slider 15 slides together with the regulating plate 14A. The gear body 17 rocks around a rotary shaft 20, and interlocks the rack 21 with the slider 15. The rack 21 is detected in a position by a sensor 22. The gear body 17 and the slider 15 are connected by a slit 18 of a bending shape and a fixing pin 16. A rate of a rocking angle of the gear body 17 to a slide distance up to a position for regulating the paper of a legal size from a position for regulating the paper of an A4-size by the regulating plate 14A is larger than a rate of a rocking angle of the gear body 17 to a slide distance up to a position for regulating the paper of a B5-size from a position for regulating the paper of the legal size by the regulating plate 14A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
