<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incorrect connection arrester capable of arresting a direct connection to the plug of a hose and capable of excellently connecting on the connection to the plug of coupling. <P>SOLUTION: The incorrect connection arrester is freely detachably mounted on the outer diameter side by crossing over a first annular part 14 and a second annular part 16 of the plug 3 and at the same time, from the top-end side in the axis line direction to the rear end side an approach of a coupling member 1 is permitted and a cylindrical casing 51, in the approach of the hose 2 from the top end side to the rear end side, and an arresting mechanism 52 to arrest the approach of the hose 2 are provided and the arresting mechanism 52 drops out to the outer diameter side in the approach of the coupling member 1 from the top end side to the rear end side is permitted as a configuration.
