<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly determine a servo gain for blood pressure measurement according to a volume compensation method. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic sphygmomanometer detects cuff pressure inside a cuff mounted on a blood pressure measuring part. An artery volume detection circuit 74 detects the artery volume signals of the measuring part. After setting the cuff pressure to initial cuff pressure, a servo control part 106 servo-controls a cuff pressure adjustment part so as to fix the volume of the artery on the basis of the detected artery volume signals. In servo control, a gain determination part 109 successively updates an initial gain determined from a pulse pressure calculated beforehand and a control error amplitude by adding it to the servo gain used for the servo control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
