<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium feeding device capable of conveying a medium to be fed by stabilizing the attitude of the medium during conveyance. <P>SOLUTION: This medium feeding device 3 is provided with a pair of feed rollers 96, a pair of conveyance rollers 71, and a control part 90 for making a tip of the medium P1 to be fed follow nip lines of the pair of conveyance rollers 71 by nipping a tip being a feed-direction downstream end of the medium P1 to be fed by the pair of conveyance rollers 71 when correcting a skew and reversing and driving a conveyance driving roller 72, nipping the tip of the medium P1 to be fed by the pair of conveyance rollers 71 by normally rotating and driving the conveyance driving roller 72 and a feed driving roller 50, and subsequently relatively separating and moving the feed driven roller 51 and the feed driving roller 50 and reversing and driving the feed driving roller 50 in the stopped state of the conveyance driving roller 72. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
