PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having uniform dust removal power and high dust removal efficiency of a filter body. SOLUTION: The air conditioner is equipped with: the filter body 6 comprising a filter 14 and a frame body 15 holding its outer periphery in a ventilation passage (not shown); a dust remover 19 provided with a blower (not shown), contacting an upstream side surface of the filter 14 at a predetermined pressure, comprising a shaft body 20 and a cleaner 23 fastened to it, and collecting dust; and a driver 26 reciprocating the dust remover 19 in the ventilation passage. Cross sections of contact parts of the dust remover 19 and the filter 14 are formed in corrugated shapes having ridge parts 23a, 14a and valley parts 23b, 14b, respectively, and lengths of bristle of the cleaner 23 are substantially the same. By corrugating the filter 14, an effective area is increased, a pressure loss is reduced, and a strength of the filter body 6 is improved. By providing the bristle of the cleaner 23 at the substantially the same length, contact force of the cleaner 23 with the filter 14 becomes uniform in a whole area of the filter 14, and dust removal is positively carried out without leaving dust unremoved.
