PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operating rate of a game machine by improving the amusement of the game machine. SOLUTION: The game machine has an image display part 104 for variably displaying and stop-displaying patterns, a ROM 252 for storing two or more kinds of pattern variation patterns, and a CPU 251 for making the image display part 104 perform display using the pattern variation pattern selected from the plurality of pattern variation patterns. The CPU 251 performs control so as to execute a prescribed performance of waiting for a player different from the one when the patterns are varied while waiting for the player without a game for the fixed time and to execute a special performance for a special period different from the performance of waiting for a player while waiting for the player in the case that the present time input from an RTC 247 is included in the special period.
