<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately adjust a white balance, by finding the photographic conditions (especially, the affecting e degree of sunlight) in a photographic position, at the instant of photography. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In an image processor, an antenna 13 receives a signal which is transmitted from a transmitter with a predetermined signal strength, and a signal strength measuring portion 31 measures a signal strength of the signal. A CPU 55 estimates an optical source, at photographing an image by an image pick-up section 12, based on the signal strength measured by the signal strength measuring portion 31. A factor determining portion 53 determines a white balance factor that adjusts the white balance of an image data, output from the image pick-up section 12 corresponding to the optical source thereof. A white balance adjusting portion 43 adjusts the white balance of the image data. For example, the white balance adjusting portion can be applied to a digital camera.
