PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screwdriver surely prevented from being co-rotated. SOLUTION: This screwdriver 1 comprises: a housing 2; a motor 3 having a rotating shaft section 31 rotated in the forward or reverse direction; an end tool mounting section 5 to which a bit 10 rotated and tightening a screw is attachable, which is movable between the front end position and a rear end position, and which has a hooking section 52; a clutch mechanism 4 which is interposed between the motor 3 and the end tool mounting section 5 and which transmits a drive force from the motor 3 to the end tool mounting section 5 at least at the rear end position; and a co-rotation prevention mechanism 6 which is attached to the housing 2 and allows only the reverse rotation of the motor 3. The co-rotation prevention mechanism 6 has an engagement section 62 having a section to be engaged 62B which is engaged with the hooking section 52 while the end tool mounting section 5 is at the front end position.
