PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve circuit diagram design considering connection between a plurality of substrate designs. SOLUTION: A system circuit diagram design apparatus for generating a system circuit diagram indicating a connection state between a plurality of substrate designs includes: a substrate form setting means for setting a plurality of substrate forms; a physical connection extraction means for extracting physical connectors from substrate circuit diagram designs respectively corresponding to a plurality of substrates whose substrate forms are set by the substrate form setting means; a physical connector arrangement means for arranging the physical connectors extracted by the physical connector extraction means in the areas of respective substrate forms set by the substrate form setting means; and an inter-physical-connector connection means for connecting between the physical connectors arranged in the areas of the substrate forms by the physical connector arrangement means through signal lines and generating a system circuit diagram indicating the connection state between the substrates whose substrate forms are set by the substrate form setting means.
