PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position a recording device so that the line direction of a lenticular lens of a recording medium having the lenticular lens is not different with recording media. SOLUTION: In the recording device 1 which moves a recording head 3 in two XY directions for recording to a sheet S mounted on a placement surface 5 of a placement table 2, the placement surface 5 includes projection portions 6 to be put between adjacent lens elements S3 and S3 of the lenticular lens S2 to engage the lens elements S3 when the sheet S having the lenticular lens S2 is placed.
