<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an altar for a funeral which can produce a gorgeous-solemn impression which is not inferior to an altar with floral arrangement, and further can be utilized many times, and can easily do floral decoration work when preparing altar. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The altar for the funeral has a floral decoration decorative part 2 mounted on a base rest 10, the floral decoration decorative part 2 has a foundation part 3 and a preserved flower 4 which consist of a resin foam-molded object, and the preserved flower 4 is established in the foundation part 3. The foundation part 3 beforehand has ups and downs shape for preparing ups and downs in the arrangement height of the preserved flower 4. The foundation part 3 is divided into a plurality and it is desirable that mutual spacing can be altered in right and left directions. It is desirable that the foundation parts 51-54, which are divided and adjoin each other, have lapping parts, which overlap each other viewed from a front direction, so that no crevice is seen from the front when the mutual spacing is altered in the range of a predetermined amount.
