<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller type ball screw in which a roller member can be installed easily and reliably. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The roller type ball screw includes the roller member 5 fitted to a roller window 6 formed in the shell portion of a nut 3 and having a connection groove 5a using a rolling passage as a circling path. The connection groove 5a connects adjacent screw grooves 3a, 3a of the nut 3 and is formed in an approximately S-shaped curve. The rolling member 5 is divided in a roller body 51 inserted into the roller window 6 from the nut inner-diameter side to the nut outer-diameter side, and a cap 52 inserted into the roller window 6 from the nut outer-diameter side to the nut inner-diameter side. Elastic engagement portions 8 are provided at the ends of the roller body 51 and the cap 52 facing each other.
